About Us

The notion behind the name is providing physiotherapy treatment and advice that is up to date and relevant to the patient (excuse my french ).

The reason is: Physiotherapy is progressive, research on physiotherapy is being updated and improved on a daily basis.

A bit about myself – My name is Surya Sriram. I have completed my bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy from University of Sydney and in 2017 finished my master’s degree in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy from Latrobe University.

I am part of the small cohort of APA Titled Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist practising in Melbourne.

Prior to opening up Physio Dujour, I have worked in large teaching hospitals in NSW and Victoria. I have had extensive experience as a physiotherapist in the private practice setting servicing the community and local sporting teams in Melbourne.

In total I have so far worked as a physiotherapist for over 13 years and counting gaining experience working and treating patients from all walks of life.

As a physiotherapist I have been involved with many different sports over the years including golf, cricket, rugby league, rugby union, soccer, netball and basketball, both playing and working with various local teams. My special area of interest is in the treatment of sports injuries especially cricketers, lumbar spine pain and shoulder issues.

One of the most rewarding parts of being a physiotherapist is teaching and using my skills on a everyday basis to have positive changes in people’s life. Work is fun when you love what you do!

I believe physiotherapy is not just about the physical aspect of people’s lives. It’s about helping people get their physical issues right so they can pursue their life goals and the things that really matter to them.

My hobbies are playing cricket, listening to music, playing with my puppy dogs and pretty much trying my hand at anything fun.

At Physio Dujour, the aim is to provide you with the current and best management for all physical limitations and injuries that life throws at you !
